This week we are replaying an interview with Laura Brady, founder of the website www.thenourishedhome.com. With the holiday season winding down and the birth of a new year upon us, Laura's message of slowing down and reconnecting to our inner knowing feels especially timely.
In our shared culture of instantaneous voyeurism, it is so easy to become over-loaded and overstimulated by the constant need to stay current and involved. Sometimes we can become so caught up in what we are supposed to be doing or in comparing ourselves to those who may be accomplishing more than us, that we lose sight of what is really important.
Laura explains that when you “notice that your voice, that your mission is getting clouded over, it is time to slow down and reconnect to our own inner wisdom.” By supporting women to reconnect with their core values, Laura helps her clients to discover their anchor; and to redefine the guideposts by which they want to lead and show up in their lives.
In this week’s interview on the Inspired Woman Project, Laura shares her story of how she came to create her Mamas on a Mission philosophy, her personal rituals for slowing down and clarifying her own values and shares with us a very simple and effective process by which we can make these discoveries for ourselves.
There has never been a better time for women to step into their power, express their calling and make an impact in the world. Laura’s vision supports women to be leaders in the world and in the certainty of their choosing.
