As an entrepreneur taking risks can be scary. What if it doesn't work, what if it does? Sometimes it can feel like everything is so important, that if you make one wrong move it will all fall apart. As I was getting ready to take the next big step in my business (it feels more like a LEAP), I started feeling stuck. I began to keep myself from moving forward to keep myself safe. The discomfort of not taking the next step was safer than the risk for it to fail (or succeed).
During the interview this week with Melody Biringer, this shifted. I realized that it isn't about the next step or business opportunity being perfect, or about whether it succeeds or fails. It is about being in action, trusting the process, and knowing that each step is leading you to the next right action. Even if something doesn't work, there is always another opportunity. Each of the opportunities come to us when we are ready for it. Listening to Melody's story inspired me to take action, to take risks, and to listen to what I know is the next right action.
I'm excited for you to listen to her story too. I look forward to hearing your aha's and insights in the comments section below!
